Imagine children that don't sing or make music, don't know how to paint or draw, don't know how to use a library or the internet, don't know the value of athletics to their health and their relationships. Imagine kids bored to tears because their schoolwork is always too easy so they just sit in the classroom trying to figure out what to do with all the wasted time... so they started disrupting class, or daydreaming, or not living up to their potential. Children without skills and knowledge often become adults without skills and knowledge. What kind of society do we want? or need? These classes provide valuable, necessary skills. Our future is in our children.
